Founded in 2010, STC Innovation Corporation is a holding company for a diverse group of companies that designs and manufactures everything from imaging products to nanotechnology. 

STC Innovation’s deep experience in materials engineering, semiconductors, nanotechnology, and optics creates enduring value for our customers and partners in the imaging, communications, medical, textile and defense industries. You will find our engineered products and know-how behind the clothes you wear, the camera lenses you use and the plastics you use.

STC is not a conventional company, nor will we ever be. We believe in using science and technology. Innovation is not breaking things. It’s about building people and technology up to make the world a better place.

Company Timeline

November 2020: Launched STC America to service US B2B and B2C customers.

December 2020: Received Taiwan government licensing as a medical device producer.  Formally launched STCNext.Health in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Initial go-to-market products include antimicrobial face masks and mask inserts, and antibacterial films for high-traffic and high-touch public areas.

2020: Acquired IA Networks Technology machine learning unit. In partnership with the National Defense Medical Center, we are optimizing machine learning algorithms for radiology applications.

January 2020: Spun off STC Optical and Chemical Co., Ltd. into a separate operating subsidiary to service the telecom, photography and film industries.

2019: Partnered with Academia Sinica and Fu Jen Catholic University College of Medicine, Taiwan’s premier research universities. Optimized the application of a range of antimicrobial nanomaterials to support disinfection in high-touch and high-traffic public areas. 

July 2019: Launched STC’s line of embedded activated charcoal and AG+ nonwoven fabrics.

2018: Licensed Kamosica Enterprise Ltd. patent portfolio augmenting STC’s capability to consistently and efficiently control particle sizing and homogeneity across a wide range of nanometer scales.

2017: Developed an efficient nanoization and stable extraction material process for 30 nanometers and below.

2017 – March: Participated in Hon Hai Precision’s Yonglin business incubator advising and coaching young nanotech startups.

2010: Company established.
